Just remember, voting is a privilege, not a right…or something.

February 18th, 2008

The pain and suffering I go through for this blog. It took me 36 hours to figure out how to create a poll. If this doesn’t work I quit!

Now, before you run off and vote for your favorite problem below, I wanted to mention that I’m leaving a space for write-ins. You guys don’t just have to suggest things that are pleasant or benefit anyone, or build my character. You can suggest things that might embarrass me or are just silly. For example, I would not be above renting a theme-park style costume in the middle of summer, going to the beach and handing out popsicles to people. That’s just an example. Actually, maybe I’ll make that a real problem, that sounds really fun.

Do your citizen-ly duty and vote!

You're the boss of me! What's my next problem?

  • 2. Jessi, the boss of this blog  |  February 18th, 2008 at 9:31 pm

    ok, yes you do. :)

Hey, hey, hey, if I was there, I would love to be a part of a massive, old-fashioned snowball fight! Sadly, I’m stuck here, in tropical Venezuela, drinking cocktails and getting a tan. :)

i voted for the fast for a weekend because i think that’s a pretty interesting idea. but you have to do the apple cider century! and the roller coasters would be fun too. you should just do them all :)

  • 5. Jessi  |  February 19th, 2008 at 1:11 am

i know, I really do like them all!

And Simon, if only you could see the how I’m glaring at you through the screen right now..

  • 6. jess casual  |  February 19th, 2008 at 2:39 am

i also vote for all of the above. i voted for the minx’s suggestion but only because i want to be a part of the karaoke rampage spectacular when it goes down.

maybe all the chicks could sing together? a spice girls song perhaps?

  • 7. gavin  |  February 19th, 2008 at 4:03 am

do the century! i gotta get in on that this year too.

  • 8. Amy C.  |  February 20th, 2008 at 9:52 pm

I voted for ACC- it’s really fun and you’ll feel really accomplished afterwards.
But I also think converting even one person to veganism would be a huge accomplishment that deserves to be its own ‘problem’- maybe even getting someone to agree to try veganism for a week? That would be interesting.
    Finally, do not fast. Torturous!!

  • 9. Jessi  |  February 21st, 2008 at 2:50 am

yeah, a week long veganism stint is a good idea. I have a hard time with the idea of trying to convince someone to do it, it’s such a personal thing. I don’t want to be one of those people handing out the little Jesus saves comics on the street…

  • 10. smauz  |  February 21st, 2008 at 3:46 am

I finally got to vote for barack obama!!!!!

  • 11. Rachel  |  February 23rd, 2008 at 5:46 am

I voted for the faith experience one, not my own.

  • 12. Michelle  |  February 27th, 2008 at 4:46 am

Hey I’ll try veganism for a week, just don’t make it for a time when I’m simultaneously not drinking. That’d be a disaster. I foreshadow tofu hurled at Aaron’s head. Does it also mean that you’ll cook dinner and pack my lunch for me?

  • 13. Simon  |  March 1st, 2008 at 6:13 pm

Snowball fight got a vote! Wasn’t me, either. Yay?
