Problem #43: Make one new vegan recipe each week
January 9th, 2008
It’s a big day today, the day of my very first real post!
If you’ve read the “What’s my problem” and “Full List” pages, then I thank you for making those 10 hours worth my time. If not, a quick run-down: I will define 99 problems (read:goals) to solve this year, and will blog about them as I go. But also go read those pages, I beg you.
Which brings me back to this post, Problem 43. For Christmas I received two cookbooks: Veganomicon and The Complete Vegan Kitchen. (TCVK includes recpies from Carl Lewis, who is vegan. Who knew!?) Last night, Riki and I decided to make Beanball subs from Veganomicon. I’d like to apologize for the balls jokes to follow, especially to my parents, but how could I not?
mmmm, delicious beanball recipe.
#1 gross, in both looks and taste.
and then! there were balls.
oh man, success!
And Riki agrees.
Til the next problem…
